Drugs worth an estimated R270million on the street have been seized and five men have been arrested at a factory on a farm near Hartebeespoort Dam.

Superintendent Pieter du Plessis said: "The drug known as 'ice' was seized yesterday morning when investigators reacted to a tip from members of the community."

North West safety MEC Jerry Thibedi said the swift action of the police and the revenue service deserved praise.
