Mpumalanga Black Aces moved to the top of the Mpumalanga Vodacom League standing after defeating Winners 3-0 at Vukuzakhe stadium in Volkrust on Saturday.
Russells "Romario" Molefe, Aces' coach, said: "The win was very crucial to intensify our chances of winning the league.
"As I said before, our aim is to win the league and the national playoffs to gain promotion to the National First Division next season."
Molefe said they are set to sign goalkeeper Job Monatse from OR Tambo Cosmos and striker Innocent Mnisi from Barberton City Stars.
