Pakistan require a further 183 runs to win the second Test in South Africa after closing the third day on 8 for 0.

South Africa resumed on 115 for 3 and added only 76 in the 32 overs before lunch, but Jacques Kallis and Herschelle Gibbs added a useful 78 for the fifth wicket.

They were both dismissed within four overs, Kallis lbw to Mohammad Asif nine short of his 25th Test century.

But evergreen Mark Boucher and Shaun Pollock shared an enterprising 80 in 25 overs and the last wicket added 41.

While overnight pair Kallis and Ashwell Prince took 27 overs to record their partnership of 56, Kallis and Gibbs added 74 in the same period. - BBC
