After three defeats, Benoni Premier United hope to taste their first win of 2007 against Bloemfontein Celtic at Mehlareng Stadium on Sunday. The match starts at 3.45pm.

The three losses were against Ajax Cape Town (2-1), fellow strugglers Lamontville Golden Arrows (1-0) and Kaizer Chiefs (2-0).

"We are perfecting ourselves, it will be a different Benoni Premier United on Sunday," said Simon Ngobeni, the club's general manager.

Ngobeni was quick to point out that it will be tough playing against Celtic, who will be inspired by a horde of their inspirational supporters.

"It goes without saying that Celtic are on cloud nine after a 3-1 win over Orlando Pirates last weekend, [their] supporters are in for a great display of soccer."

Sello Nduna, Phunya Selesele's communications manager, said the celebrations were over.

"Everybody is back at work in camp, training hard for the big one against Benoni. The expectations are even higher after the win over Pirates," said Nduna.

"We are going to Tembisa with one thing in mind - win the game and intensify our challenge to finish the season in the top four bracket."
