Murder case: reward offered

Two years after a prominent Eastern Cape businessman was murdered, police are continuing their investigation.

Skhumbuzo Mashologu, 45, of Ikhwezi in Mthatha, was shot dead by two gunmen as he was about to close his tavern on December 2 in 2005.

Mashologu was robbed of R5000 and he and two tavern patrons were pistol- whipped and robbed of their cellphones before Mashologu was killed.

Police are offering a R50000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.

Anyone with information should contact Msindwana on 083-478-9032 or 047-531-0496. - Stan Mzimba
