Janjie Leshomo allegedly enticed a 12-year-old girl, who lives at the other side of the same village, to accompany him to his house last Friday.
For two days Leshomo kept the girl captive and repeatedly raped her, said Captain Jacob Mothibi, a police spokesman in the Molopo area.
On Sunday the girl managed to escape and alerted her parents, who reported the matter at the police.
