The Riviera on the Vaal Country Club that hosted a fundraising golf day last month, will launch its new bridge over a stream that flows into the Vaal River at the course's 18th hole next Tuesday.
The official opening will be followed by a sunset cruise on the hotel's Petit Verdot Floating Restaurant in honour of all club members who assisted with the construction of the bridge.
The launch will be hosted by top Vereeniging property developer Mac van der Merwe, the chief executive and owner of the Zorgvliet Portfolio Collection, which includes the Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club.
A year ago, the management team of the Riviera on Vaal Country Club identified the bridge on the 18th hole at Zwartkop Country Club in Pretoria as the ideal design for their club's own 18th hole bridge.
