Thoko Malwa, coach of the Mpumalanga under-21 women's soccer squad, believes they will give their German counterparts a run for their money.

Mpumalanga take on the Germans in a friendly match at KaNyamazane Stadium at 3pm on Monday.

Said Malwa: "The majority of our players took part in the inter-provincial tournament that was held in Bloemfontein in December, where we received a bronze medal. We are looking forward to giving the German girls a tough practice match."

The Germans were expected to arrive in Nelspruit yesterday.

"Our squad will assemble at Bundu Lodge in Nelspruit tomorrow until Tuesday. We will be using KaBokweni Stadium for training. We invite all soccer loving people from the province to come and support the girls on Monday."
