Ace batsman Herschelle Gibbs will probably be able to play in the second Test against Pakistan beginning in Port Elizabeth on Friday, after notifying the International Cricket Council yesterday that he intended to appeal against his two-match ban.
Gibbs was banned after he was found guilty of insulting Pakistani supporters.
