Jazz lovers have called for an investigation of the MTN Jazz Festival organisers after many were left stranded, though they had bought tickets for last year's show.
They accused Lindelani Mkhize and Mdu Ngcobo of selling more tickets than the venue, Hazelmere Dam and Resort, could accommodate. This emerged after dozens of people called iGagagasi FM to complain.
Ngcobo blamed the police, who he claimed had blocked the road to the venue.
But one caller, who identified himself as Sabatha, said it was not the first time this had happened.
