Yebo Yes, who are second on the Vodacom League in Gauteng, have already started with preparations for the Absa Cup last 32 stage.

Vaal Tech are topping the table.

Yebo Yes, now owned by Mike Marabe, are one of the eight South African Football Association (Safa) clubs through to the money- spinning stage of the cup.

Marabe bought Yebo Yes, which was once the feeder side to Orlando Pirates, after selling National First Division outfit PJ Stars last year.

"Yster Khomane and Siphiwe Ngwenya are in charge of our technical staff. The focus is on the cup but we also want to do well in the league," said Marabe.

The Dobsonville-based Marabe said he would change the name of Yebo Yes to PJ Stars.

Ajax Cape Town is the only club with two teams in the last 32 after their Vodacom League side won through from Western Cape.

Selokela "Chicks" Masetle, director of competitions at Safa, confirmed that Yebo Yes were now owned by Marabe.

Masetle identified the other seven amateur clubs who have qualified for the last 32 as Mighty FC (Limpopo), Bloemfontein Young Tigers (Free State), Island (KwaZulu-Natal), Leandra (Mpumalanga), Moresterjeug (Northern Cape) and Birds United (North West).

Moresterjeug is the only side of the eight who play in the SAB Regional League.

Island and Mafika Sihlali's Leandra reached the last 32 last season where they were eliminated by Black Leopards and Kaizer Chiefs.
