Majimbos defender Daylon "Alarm" Classen will make his professional debut when Ajax Cape Town welcome Benoni Premier United tomorrow.

This will be during the opening Castle Premiership match of 2007 at Athlone Stadium. Kickoff is at 8pm.

The hard-working Classen from Matlosana in North West was offered a professional contract by the Urban Warriors on Tuesday morning.

That resulted in him withdrawing from the Amajita team to the Daimler Chrysler five-a-side tournament in Germany.

Muhsin Ertugral, Ajax coach, pleaded with Safa to withdraw Classen because they wanted to use him against The Rabbits.

Ajax, who ended 2006 on a high note with a 2-1 win over Orlando Pirates, will also parade Clayton Jagers, who was also promoted from their development.

Jagers is earmarked to fill the void created by the departure of George Mofokeng to SuperSport United after their game against Bucs.

On the other hand, the Rabbits could also parade new recruits Richard Rantjie and Malawian international defender James Sangala.

"We've already finalised the deal with the two players," said an ecstatic Dumisani Ndlovu, chairman of the Ekurhuleni outfit.

"Richard is coming back home, SuperSport United snatched him from us after approaching his parents when we had already offered him a job.

"We will have to meet United to finalise Richard's transfer. As for James, he impressed our technical staff when we toured Malawi last August."

Ndlovu said he was also looking at roping in Kwena Mathopa from SuperSport, whom he believes will add firepower upfront.

"We want to build a strong team; hopefully people will start seeing the difference when we take on Ajax. It will be a tough game but we are ready for them."
