Last minute withdrawals at Amajita have resulted in exciting striker Kyle Koert being drafted into the South African Under-20 national side.

This was confirmed by Barney Kujane, who added that the Yebo Yes youngster replaced AmaZulu striker Sibusiso Ntuli.

"We received a telephone call from AmaZulu's operations manager Joseph Dlamini when we were about to check in at the O.R International Airport on Tuesday night.

"Dlamini pleaded with us to release Ntuli because they need him for Sunday's Castle Premiership match against Jomo Cosmos.

"After discussions with Amajita coach (Serame Letsoaka), we sent a call-up to Kyle and Yebo Yes assisted us a lot in tracking him down."

Ntuli is the third player to withdraw from the team that will take part in the Daimler Chrysler five-a-side tournament in Germany this weekend.

The other two players are Daylon "Alarm" Classen (Ajax Cape Town) and Bandile Kirviet (Kaizer Chiefs' development side).

"I still maintain that the team we will assemble will represent the country to the best of our ability," said Letsoaka on their arrival in Germany yesterday.

Amajita are in the same group with Borussia Dortmunt (Germany), Kaiserslautern (Germany), Werder Bremen (Germany) and FC Basel (Switzerland).
