Singer George Michael has been charged with being unfit to drive after a "drug-related" incident last October, in which he was found asleep at the wheel of his car.

The 43-year-old pop star was initially cautioned for possessing cannabis after police picked him up in the early hours of October 1 for blocking an intersection in the north of London.

According to police yesterday, Michael will appear in court on January 11.

In another case, the millionaire singer was cautioned for possessing marijuana in February. He was found slumped in his car in central London. - Reuters
