A Chinese businessman was nabbed at the Lebombo border post in Mpumalanga yesterday for trying "to bribe" a border official.
The man was transporting 410kg of shark fin - a seafood delicacy - from Mozambique and had failed to declare the consignment at the border post.
A Komatipoort police spokesman said the man would also be charged with failing to declare a large amount of cash in South African currency and US dollars. - Sakhile Mokoena
