Limpopo launched its Arrive Alive campaign yesterday with the new MEC for roads and transport, Justice Pitso, calling on traffic officers and motorists to stop bribing one another.

Pitso said: "Let us make a change this year and behave ourselves on the roads."

Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane of the ZCC also attended yesterday's proceedings.

Kgoshi Kgwadu Machaka, of the Batlokwa tribe, said he was worried about the number of deaths on South African roads. - Selby Makgotho
