A second matter of concern is the indicated need behind the apparent reason why such a decision was taken. Are there not enough highly qualified pilots to fly the VIP guests to and from London?
Is this the image that South Africa wants to project to the world? And this on top of the unending revelations of rampant violent crime, rape of tourists, bribery and corruption at all levels of society - from thousands of beneficiaries of state grants to senior civil servants and members of the public.
