ANC heads confuse the folk

It is obvious that Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma, right, are rivals who, in public, pretend to be united. It is simply window dressing.

I do not understand those who condemn what ordinary people did in Pietermaritzburg. They can't say they are not members of the ANC because they don't agree with their actions. The reason they did what they did was because the ANC leadership is at loggerheads and it is killing the party with petty power struggles.

Ordinary members of the party do not understand why things are the way they are.

Until the two leaders sit down and resolve this matter, there will be more embarrassing scenes such as the one at Harry Gwala Stadium.

The two leaders should resolve this mess, not for themselves and their camps, but for those citizens who have hope and trust in the ANC to deliver a better life for all. If Mbeki and Zuma cannot resolve their differences they must leave the ANC in peace.
