Free State Stars' coach Musa Abdullahi warned yesterday that his charges will continue to pull out all the stops to ensure that they gain promotion to the Castle Premiership at the end of the season.

"This is not an easy league and we are competing against equally tough opponents and everyone is eager to beat us to prove a point," Abdullahi said.

His comments came a day after his charges stole a point against FC AK in their 1-all drawn Mvela Golden League tie at Eldorado Park Stadium on Saturday.

Ea lla Koto were surprised by Bahumi when Tumelo Mofokeng scored in the first half, but skipper Duncan Lechesa levelled matters for Stars when he struck in the second half.

"It is good for us to manage to grab a point against a tough team like FC AK away from home and there is hope that we can do well this season," said the Stars' mentor.

As usual, it was difficult to get comments from FC AK technical staff yesterday.
