The Reverend Ruth Tunku Kalane of the St John Apostolic Church of Prophecy passed away suddenly at the weekend. She will be buried tomorrow in Randfontein.
The Reverend Ruth Tunku Kalane of the St John Apostolic Church of Prophecy passed away suddenly at the weekend. She will be buried tomorrow in Randfontein.
She was the mother of former City Press editor Len Kalane, now an editorial consultant.
Kalane was a staunch member of the all-powerful St John's. The church has since moved its headquarters to Motlollo, in North West.
Kalane led her own Elandsvlei circuit parish near Randfontein.
Her funeral service will be at her house at 1 666 Maboe Street, Mohlakeng, Randfontein. The service starts at 8am and the cortege leaves at 11am for Greenhills Cemetery in Randfontein.
She is survived by her only child and son, Len, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and grandson.
