There was drama immediately after the CAF Confederation Cup's goalless second leg match between Royal Armed Forces and Etoile Sahel last weekend when South African referee Daniel Bennett was attacked as the former claimed they were denied a stoppage-time goal.

Reuters reports that Etoile Sahel, runners-up in the African Champions League in 2004 and last year, won on away goals after drawing the first leg 1-1 in Rabat last month.

Bennett and his linesman, Toko Malebo, were attacked by the furious visitors after a close-in effort from Brahim El Bahri was disallowed for offside.

This game will be part of the African Soccer Television Show's highlights of football action around the continent that will be shown on SABC Sports' Ladumaprogramme on Sunday at 3pm.

Several Royal Armed Forces players rushed at Malebo as he flagged the goal offside, pushing and shoving him before security officials came to his rescue.

Other highlights will be of league games from the Egypt Premier Soccer League in which former giants Zamalek are seen scraping through 2-1 at Al Ittihad. In Ghana's Onetouch Premier Soccer League, Liberty fell 1-0 to Asante Kotoko with Power FC going down by the same margin at home to Hearts of Oak.

On the local scene in the Premier Soccer League there will be highlights of the midweek AmaZulu v Kaizer Chiefs game.

It was all excitement for Union Douala and Fovu supporters when the two giants met in the Cameroon Cup Final on Saturday, with Fovu sent home in tears as Douala took the honours with a 1-0 victory.
