People with disabilities are not treated fairly

We honoured World Aids Day on December 1 and all the initiatives around this cause. But International Day for People with Disabilities on December 3 was treated very differently .

Why are the days treated so differently, and why isn't there the same publicity for them?

It is because people with disabilities are still being discriminated against in South Africa. We act superior to people with physical limitations, but most of us have our own emotional, financial and other limitations. We are one nation and we should embrace each other.
