Afro-pop group Mafikizolo will be performing at the Jazz in the Bush festival.

After the success of their album Van Toeka Af, Mafikizolo hope that their latest offering, Six Mabone, will fare equally well.

Mafikizolo recently launched the album in London and will introduce it officially at the event.

The festival takes place on December 16 at Zithabiseni Leisure Resort in Thembisile, Mpumalanga.

The show, which will wrap up the festive season calender in style, boasts an exciting line-up of the best of local Afro-pop and jazz singers which includes Mafikizolo, Malaika, Zamajobe, Thandiswa, Bongo Maffin, Ringo, Stimela and Nana Coyote, Mathapelo, Saaiplaas Boys, G7, Mathapelo and Kelly Khumalo, among others.

Mathapelo is expected to introduce her latest album officially at the festival. And you won't want to miss Stimela, featuring Nana Coyote and Ray Phiri.

The fest will promote awareness about women and child abuse and encourage people not to buy stolen and fake goods.

Tickets are available at Computicket, Jet stores and Shoprite Checkers for R120.
