Limpopo surprised Gauteng 2-0 in the Coca-Cola Under-17 Youth Challenge soccer clash at Olympia Park Stadium, Rustenburg, yesterday.

The result has dropped Gauteng to second from the bottom of the inland stream, a position the mighty province will not be liking. They have little chance of getting to the final.

The 2006 Coca-Cola Under-17 Youth Challenge continues to bring surprises.

Eastern Cape appear to be leading the coastal stream by a comfortable margin, but the fight is on for the inland stream.

Free State and Limpopo are level on points with the same goal average and both teams have two games to play.

With two more days left to play in the round robin section of the tournament it is difficult to predict which teams will compete in the final on Saturday at 1pm.
