Diamond miner De Beers' Venetia Mine and Comprehensive Breast Health Centre (CBHC) have taken top honours at the National Productivity Awards held in Midrand, Johannesburg last night.

The awards honour organisations for their productivity improvements, as well as their effect on and significance for the nation, communities, organisations, divisions and individuals.

Venetia won the corporate sector category and CBHC walked away with the award for the emerging sector category.

The awards coincided with the launch of the National Productivity Movement, which aims to cultivate a culture of productivity and inspire every South African to take responsibility for being more productive and innovative.
