The Johannesburg Park Station came alive on Saturday when the Zindala Zombili African Music and Dance Festival took place.

The annual festival attracted fans of traditional dance and music.

Revellers converged at the venue to witness the sheer talent of Africans.

Organised by the African Cultural Heritage Trust, the festival is about the promotion of African heritage song and dance.

Dance groups from South Africa and beyond came in beautiful traditional attires to dance and give their best performances.

The Batswana and Basotho set the audience on fire with their unique stage talent . Dance styles such as ushameni , umxhenso , umzantsi , and mokgibo left the audience asking for more .

The event aims to raise about R8million for the development of indigenous traditional music and dance.
