Tshifhiwa "Chief" Thidiela, Black Leopards' brand manager, yesterday appealed to fans to buy tickets in time for their high-profile Castle Premiership match against Kaizer Chiefs in Thohoyandou on Saturday night.

Thidiela said no tickets will be sold at the stadium and that they will sell only 25 000.

"Tickets are already available at Computicket outlets and at Shoprite-Checkers stores countrywide. I urge whoever intends to attend the match to start buying them now to avoid disappointment," Thidiela said.

"We are also appealing to chairmen of our supporters' branches to encourage our followers to buy tickets early."

Leopards have organised a musical lineup that includes R&B sensation Maduvha and local bands Khakhathi and Friends, and Colbert Mukwevho to entertain spectators.

DJ Jonez of Phalaphala FM and DJ Khoro from Thohoyandou are also part of the entertainment.

Thidiela said the first 8 000 spectators to enter the stadium will get Leopards' hats and a further 4000 will receive vuvuzelas. Gates open at 2pm.

The match has an added edge because the two teams are still smarting from defeats in the Telkom Knockout Cup.

Lidoda Duvha were sent spinning to a painful 1-3 defeat by Mamelodi Sundowns in Atteridgeville on Saturday and Amakhosi suffered a 1-2 setback to Silver Stars in Phokeng the following day.
