Eastern Cape's Metropolitan Under-19 League roadshow will take place at the Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha tomorrow.

Selokela Masetle, South African Football Association (Safa) director of competitions, said 10 clubs will take part in the regional event.

Masetle said the clubs are Bush Bucks, Lover Boys, Early Birds, Zimbane Wipers, Port St Johns, Mtweni FC, Mighty Eagles and United Patriots.

Masetle and Bushy Nale, sponsorship manager of the giant insurance company, are among the dignitaries expected to attend.

The league started last year when Bright Stars from KwaZulu-Natal were the inaugural national winners after defeating Jerry Ramohlale's Turfloop FC in the final.

Masetle said they were satisfied with the progress of the tournament in all the nine provinces. It is sponsored to the tune of R7 million.

"Our regional structures are busy with their eliminations and we are happy to see more clubs taking part," he said.

Masetle said the provincial eliminations are expected to be completed in March with the national playoffs billed for Port Elizabeth from April 15 to 21.
