The Gauteng department of sports, arts and culture will hand over softball kit to the Mamelodi Sports Council (Masco) on Sunday.
Masco chairman Sipho Motsoeneng said his organisation appreciated the gesture, especially since formal softball structures have only recently been put into place in the area.
The ceremony will be held at the Mamelodi West softball diamond, next to HM Pitje Stadium, on Sunday at 9am. The donation will assist players from Mamelodi and Nelmapius.
