Noluvo Duna, Eastern Cape young gospel sensation, is rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with kwaito star Mzambiya.

But Duna dismissed the gossip as untrue.

"Mzambiya and I are not an item," she said.

Duna released her debut album, Themb'ujesu, in the late 1990s when she was just 11 years old.

But she admitted that she and Mzambiya once had a friendship.

"We have lost contact because I am in Port Elizabeth right now and it has been a while since I went to Johannesburg.

"I do not have contact with him because I changed my cell number and I think he also changed his."

She said she was surprised when she heard the rumour.

Duna said she was now focusing on her studies and spiritual life.

She is studying human resources management.

"I do not have time for that at the moment," she said.

Speaking of her friendship with the kwaito star, Duna said they met at the SABC when she went to shoot a video for Gospel Gold and Mzambiya was also there for something else.

She said they enjoyed to hang around together because they were both 11 at the time.

She is planning to release her second album sometime next year and her producers are already working on the beats for the tracks.
