The Moroccan army side host the first leg of the final in Rabat tomorrow, seeking to retain the silverware.
Their opponents have won five African club titles, the last coming three years ago in the African Cup Winners' Cup.
The Tunisians have a 100 percent record in reaching the Confederation Cup final, winning both legs of their knockout round and all six matches in the group phase.
In the process, Etoile Sahel scored 22 goals, led by Nigerian import Emeka Opara and Brazilian Maicon dos Santos, to set themselves up as favourites to win the cup. Both clubs go into the game with strong form in their domestic championships.
Royal Armed Forces, coached by former Olympique Marseille goalkeeper, Henri Stambouli, share top spot with two other clubs in the Moroccan league, while Etoile Sahel have a one-point lead in the Tunisian championship.
