Young stage actor Mpho Molepo has made history by being appointed the State Theatre's producer for its development programme, 52 Seasons.

Theatre producers are involved in choosing plays, putting together budgets and working closely with artistic directors.

Molepo, a former Isidingo actor, is also active in the community theatre sector.
