Listed miner Tawana Resources has formed a strategic alliance with Guma Resources, a unit of black-owned Guma Capital.

The group said the purpose of the alliance was to combine the exploration and mining skills of Tawana with the financial and accounting skills of Guma to explore for, develop and mine diamonds and other mineral deposits in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and other countries.

The strategic alliance also provides Tawana with a black-controlled business partner with the ability to leverage off its sizeable net asset base and introduce resource projects via its strong networks through Africa. - I-Net Bridge
