'no stranglehold'

Mobile Number Portability (MNP), which takes effect today, should break the stranglehold by Vodacom and MTN, says Cell C chief executive Jeffery Hedberg.

Mobile Number Portability (MNP), which takes effect today, should break the stranglehold by Vodacom and MTN, says Cell C chief executive Jeffery Hedberg.

He said that Cell C had battled to enter the market because customers had been tied into contracts with the two big players.
