A huge construction and transport auction is due to be held in Carletonville soon.

Trucks, trailers, tippers, and a wide assortment of construction equipment make up the bulk of lots going on auction.

The wide selection of stock on offer includes medium to light tonnage trucks, used and late model light delivery vehicles, and several Hiace minibuses.

"This is an auction for all kinds of businessmen," said Aucor Group chief executive Chico da Silva.

"Micro operators in the construction industry will have the opportunity to buy well cared for machinery at much reduced prices, and fringe operators should be spoiled for choice when all the tools, generators, caravans and other lots come up for sale," he said.

The auction on November 17 at 3 Haulage Street in Carletonville will start at 10.30am.

A refundable deposit of R5000 secures your bidder's card.

Viewing of the stock is between 9am and 4pm on the day before the auction or by appointment.
