Guillo "S'Dumo" Marapyane, Limpopo Softball Association (LSA) president, said yesterday that their LimDev Super League second round matches will be played mostly on Saturdays.

This comes after parents of some of the players put pressure on the provincial controlling body to bring their Sunday matches forward to Saturdays to enable their children to prepare enough for their year-end examinations.

LSA matches are staged on Sundays, but this has inconvenienced other clubs with players who are based outside Limpopo.

"We will meet soon to revise our fixtures of the second round," Marapyane said yesterday.

"It is true that we have been asked by some concerned parents to bring our traditional Sunday fixtures forward because of the examinations.

"We have brought our last matches of the first round in GaMashashane to Saturday to ensure that the players who are writing examinations get enough time to prepare themselves."

The rescheduled league matches this weekend take place at Kalkspruit diamonds, west of Polokwane.

Fixtures:

Spikes v Elephants (11am); Killers v Cannons (11am); Elephants v Killers (1.30pm); Scorpions v Seshego Raiders (1.30pm); Spikes v Scorpions (4pm).
