The price war in the low-cost airline industry is heating up, with 1Time joining the fray.

This follows the launch of South African Airways' low-cost carrier Mango on Monday with an introductory offer of R169 for a one-way flight.

kulula.com has dropped its prices to between R168 and R248 while 1Time is offering flights from between R165 and R549.
