A 44-year-old man has been arrested after his wife found him allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl.
The incident allegedly happened on Sunday in Ogies, Mpumalanga.
Spokesman for the highveld area police Captain Klaas Maloka said the man's wife had left the girl with him at about 4pm when she went to the shops to buy bread.
Maloka said that on her return, the wife heard screaming.
"When she entered the house she found her husband lying on the floor struggling to pull up his trousers," Maloka said.
The woman called the police when the girl told her she had been raped.
l Meanwhile police are searching for a Dennilton man who has allegedly raped his girlfriend's sister twice this year.
Maloka said the suspect allegedly raped the girl, 14, after getting her to accompany him on his errands.
The rapes apparently occurred in the suspect's motorcar.
