They might be on top of their game this season, but it will not be easy for Seleteng Giant Killers to win the Limpopo Softball Association's LimDev Super League title this term.

This was the view of Killers' captain Vasna Molaba after his side's 4-0 win over Mamaolo Rebels in a GaMphahlele derby at Ngwana Mohube diamonds in Seleteng on Sunday.

"We should admit that we are under pressure from Mahwelereng Spikes to win the league, but we are determined to wear the crown this season," Molaba said.

"All the players are working hard and are ready to continue winning to reinforce our chances of clinching the league championship. It will not be easy, but we have the arsenal to fulfill our objective."

Molaba had a great game against Rebels and registered a home run in the first innings and played in Tebogo Mapheto in the process. Matleng Phasha and Pelane Mashabela added two more runs in the fourth innings.

Killers and Rebels got soft points in their opening ties after Seshego Raiders failed to form a team on the day. Ledwaba Giant Elephants recorded their first win of the season when they beat strugglers Seshego Cannons 7-6 in a closely fought clash.

It was one-way traffic for Moletlane Texas when they massacred University of Limpopo 19-4. University had earlier beaten Cannons 7-4.
