DA tries to cash in on Zuma bill

Once again the DA has displayed its racist attitude towards black people.

Once again the DA has displayed its racist attitude towards black people.

Now that the government has confirmed that it is going to foot the legal bill for Jacob Zuma's corruption trial, the DA is quick to remind us that taxpayers are required to foot the bill.

I am a taxpayer and I footed the bill for Wouter Basson's lengthy trial, but the DA was nowhere to be seen concerning that controversial matter.

Basson allegedly committed some of the worst atrocities this country has ever witnessed - compared to what Zuma was accused of - yet it was no big deal, according to the DA, for the government to foot the bill.

Its selective amnesia is designed to mislead the taxpayers of the country and create an impression that whatever a black government does today amounts to corruption.

As the law-abiding and a non-racist citizen which Tony Leon proclaims himself to be, I imagined that he should have at least known that it is standard procedure for the government to foot the bill for the trials of both these men.

I therefore appeal to the DA to rid itself of the racist ideas under which it still operates.
