Kwaito star Mshoza has been attacked "for hijacking Lebo Mathosa's death for publicity".
The tongue-lashing came fromDoc Shebeleza, spokesman for Amaha Kwaito Nation, an organisation for kwaito musicians.
Mshoza told Sowetan that Mathosa had introduced her to lesbianism and taught her how to smoke zols [dagga cigarettes].
Shebeleza said: "The organisation is very disturbed by Mshoza's comments and timing.
"It was irresponsible and insensitive of her to use Lebo to get attention.
"I don't believe Lebo could teach an old lady like Mshoza all those things."
