The Zion Christian Church will hold a mass prayer meeting at the Vodacom Park Stadium in the Free State on Sunday.

This will be the first time the biggest church in Africa holds a meeting in the province.

The aim of the event is to strengthen spiritual relations among the church followers, the community and the government.

A moral renewal movement, HIV-Aids, anti-corruption and community initiatives are some of the issues that will be tackled on the day.

Free State premier Beatrice Marshoff yesterday said the ZCC was one of the biggest churches in the country and it has made significant contributions in the lives of many South Africans.

Marshoff and other members of her government, as well as other religious leaders, will share the stage on the day.
