Two more suspects were arrested in Pretoria yesterday morning in connection with the burning to death of four SBV security guards in Limpopo during a cash heist in September.

This brings to six the number of suspects arrested since last week.

Four of the suspects appeared in the Mokopane regional court last week to face four murder counts and one of armed robbery.

Their case was postponed to today to give the police time for further investigations.

The suspects asked for time to appoint legal representation.

Superintendent Ronnel Otto, a police spokesman, said two suspects, aged 28 and 40, were arrested in Soshanguve, Pretoria, yesterday.

The four suspects who have appeared in court were arrested in Soshanguve, and in Orlando and Diepkloof in Soweto.

The security guards who died in the inferno on September 29 were Dirk Kleyhans, 20, Deon Steyn, 20, Marcus Malete, 25, and Hennie Botha, 25.

They were transporting money to Lephalale, in the Waterberg, Limpopo.
