Redi Tlhabi breast-feeds baby during her talk show

702 radio talk show host Redi Tlhabi breastfed her daughter live on air yesterday during her 'Best of Redi Tlhabi' show broadcasted between 9am-12pm.

Electricity problems at home led to the first time mom bringing her four-month old baby Neo to work.

Tlhabi as a mother, who is pro breastfeeding in public, was proud to announce on Twitter that she was feeding her child at work.

Listeners and fans largely reacted to the news on Twitter of Tlhabi feeding her child whilst at work.

Milk Matters, a human milk bank dedicated to providing pasteurised breast milk to premature infants who do not have access to their own mother's milk,  tweeted:

  • ‏@milkmatters @RediTlhabi working mom breastfeeding such a prime example of how you can do BOTH! Amazing support for bf moms!

  • ‏@milkmatters @RediTlhabi you can also donate your extra breastmilk to a milk bank like milk matters, feeding premmies every day #savinglives

Should workplaces have breastfeeding friendly practices and policies for moms?
