New experience in nightclubbing

GROUND Zero Open Air Night Club is arguably the hottest party spot in Mpumalanga right now.

Situated in Matsulu, Nelspruit, this spot is popular with the young celebrity club crowd.

The club has redefined the Mpumalanga nightclub scene and is setting the standard for the ever-expanding night scene in the province.

Top music is accompanied by famous stars. The club can accommodate 10000 people standing and provides security and safe parking inside and out.

It also boasts a secure VIP area for both artists and guests.

The dance floor is located in a large open space where fresh air beckons the dancers and you can enjoy freedom and fun. You can also enjoy the magnificent view of the stars in the night sky.

In less than three years Ground Zero has hosted about 15 major events successfully, back to back.

The club's winning strategy?

The owners say when they have a gig they always fuse nationally celebrated artists and DJs with local stars. They say this also helps develop local talent.

Ground Zero has hosted Big Nuz, Chomee, Teargas, DJ Cleo, Zakes Bantwini, DJ Sbu, DJ Fresh, Euphonic, Oskido, DJ Tira, Lvovo, Alaska, Mahhota vs Vetkoek, Kelly Khumalo, Sdunkero, Stone, Speedy, Cindo, Madumane, Shabba, DJ Chrizozo and Sweet Mike, among others.

Big names have also been known to drop in unannounced and provide an impromptu jam on stage.

The venue also hosted the launch of Metro FM in Mpumalanga in 2009.
