Alone with so much to offer

What am I doing wrong? It makes me feel like I am ugly, or invisible, or that I have bad breath and body odour, but I don't.

I am 32 and I have never had a boyfriend.

I am a professional earning a very good salary, I am pretty, I dress well, I look after my body and my appearance, I have interesting hobbies, I read and travel a lot, and I think I am a good catch.

I have a big circle of friends and I socialise as much as I can. I go to film festivals, parties, art exhibitions and live music concerts. It's not like I sit at home feeling sorry for myself.

It seems men are not attracted to me and are not interested in meeting and getting to know me. I met one at a braai at a friend's house two weekends ago, and we had a great time together. When he left, he didn't even ask for my phone number.

DUDU WRITES:

Sister, you sound like a wonderful, strong, sexy woman who perhaps isn't hanging around the right places for the kind of man who will appreciate you. Either that or you are giving off signals that make men recognise you as a woman who is desperate for a man.

Make sure that is not the signal you are giving when you are around men. Study your own behaviour to determine what you are doing wrong.

If you truly believe you are doing nothing wrong, start hanging out with professional men who won't be intimidated by your success. Good luck.
