Mzansi’s Sexiest is back and you decide who’s to feature on the 2013 calendar and who should walk away with the ultimate title.

You see them on TV, you hear them on the radio, you read about them in the news, your heart flutters when you think of them and you know you just have to have their picture on your desktop (computer) background, or pasted right in front of you.

Last season, Christopher Jaftha and Boitumelo Thulo took the crown for Mzansi’s Sexiest. Who would it be this time around? It’s all up to you..

WHEN TO NOMINATE: Our nominations are open as of today, so email us the names of who in the spotlight that you have admired and would love to see popping up on your 2013 desktop calendar.

HOW TO NOMINATE: Send an email to sexiest@sowetan.co.za with the name/s of your sexiest person.

HOW DOES IT WORK?: Every year, we ask our SowetanLIVE fans to nominate a celebrity who has the full package i.e, a great body, a charming personality and confidence – and a R2 million car. Just joking about the car part, that requirement is only for ministers. Just joking about that part too. This year the nominations will run a little longer – from 1 August to 30 September. [This is purely reader driven, so send us an email of who you consider as Mzansi's Sexiest - the image gallery is just an indication of who's out there, which we will keep updating until end September].

Thereafter, we will look at all your nominations, and by counting the most votes against the names given, will cut Mzansi’s Sexiest down to Top 24 which will be revealed in the form of an image gallery on October 1.

After we reveal the Top 24, you will now be asked to take a look at these 24 hot celebs of which it will be 12 sexy men and 12 sexy women and vote for 12 of them to go through to the next round – the TOP 12 who will feature on the 2013 calendar that will be offered free to you to download in December.

Once the Top 12 are revealed on November 1, you will then be asked to vote for the reigning champions.. Mzansi’s sexiest male, and Mzansi’s sexiest female.

Its a lot to take in, we know – but don’t worry, all you have to do is look out for the sexiest person (in your opinion) and email the names to us. We'll take it from there.
