Somizi has decided to not only shun Mampintsha on social media but take action by boycotting and pulling out of all gigs organised by the musician who has come under fire for abuse allegations.

The radio presenter made the statement as part of his Woooooo Shem segment of the Metro FM Fresh Breakfast show.

Somizi's comments came in the wake of widespread outrage which was sparked by video footage which was recorded from Babes Wodumo's Instagram Live. The video showed a man, believed to be Mampintsha, striking Babes several times.

"Usually we'll say things like, 'let's wait for the law to take its course and such' but this time, there's no taking sides guys. There's only one side to take," Som Som said.

"I was booked by Mampintsha for a concert in Cape Town, sometime in May. I can tell you now, I am pulling out. I am not gonna be a part of this, I am not going to keep quiet and support it. I am so angry right now."

Listen to Somizi's rant below:

"The first thing I thought of was that it's been happening way too often, for way too long, that she's now at the point where she's able to suss out when it's gonna happen. So now she's saying, 'Okay, now it's coming so lets go live (on Instagram) and have evidence."

Midnight Starring hitmaker Busiswa told her fans that she'll also be pulling out of the same event organised by Mampintsha.
