Grammy award winning musician Anthony Hamilton is ready to set the stage on fire this weekend at his sold out two-night concert.

Hamilton, who landed in the country this week, addressed media on his upcoming concert which is set for Sun Arena in Pretoria.

The hitmaker’s "Soulful Night" concert is dedicated to women as they celebrate the last days of the Women’s Month.

This is Hamilton’s third visit to the country.

“It seems like I always come back right? I like it here because I have seen so many poeple that look like me, my cousins and my family. On the billboards (in America) you see them in lighter shades here you see us, it’s just brown which is beautiful....,” Hamilton said.

“Back to women’s month. I think everyday should be women’s month. I like women. I think it’s beautiful that I came here around this time hopefully it will keep on happening.”

Hamilton will perform his greatest hits and songs from his latest album.

The muso said his latest album is a work of art which comes from his experience during his divorce.

“Although marriage is beautiful, sometimes things happen. If you embrace it and know that in yourself you did the best and you own up to your own mistakes and you build from there and relationship is not torn you guys can work through it.”

Hamilton will be supported by local musicians including Afro-soul singer Lira.
