E.tv soapie Scandal! breaks a record as it reaches 6 million viewership. The soapie reached its viewership milestone on Wednesday last week.

According to the latest viewership figures, about  6 021 421 people watch Scandal!.

Head of local productions at e.tv, Ziyanda Mngomezulu, said this was the highest rating that Scandal! has received in its 13 years of existence.

Mngomezulu said the whole production team was excited by the achievement.

“Scandal! has been one of the flagship shows on e.tv for many years and this new milestone of over 6 million viewers proves that great talent and an exceptional writing team deliver the big numbers.”

Mngomezulu further explained  that a team of talented actors like  Jerry Mofokeng, Kgomotso Christopher, Mapaseka Koetle, Brighton Ngoma, Natasha Sutherland and many more have played a big role in making sure that Scandal! is the best.

The show currently keep the viewers glued to their screen with the Siseko Langa's death storyline and the aftermath that has been left with his family.
